Calvary Houston is committed to Worshiping the Lord, Winning the Lost, Discipling the Believer, and Sending the Committed.
There are two programs within the School of Discipleship:
The Discipleship Program
This program has been established specifically for believers that have a desire to go deeper into God’s Word, mature in the faith, and embrace the calling that the Lord has on every born-again believer. Our desire to is fulfill the Great Commission given to us in Matthew 28:18-20 by Jesus Christ to proclaim the gospel and make disciples.
The current curriculum includes 32 classes. The emphasis of the classes is to move the believer closer to the Lord, not to simply provide academic information.
Classes are held on Sunday afternoons between 3:00 and 5:30pm, with one of the classes being a Saturday field trip to the Dunham Bible Museum at Houston Baptist University.
We have two registration periods annually. You will be able to register in the Lobby on Sundays beforehand or online.
