Have you ever miscalculated your finances? If you are like me, at first there’s a sense of disbelief—‘How did I miss that?’ Then you begin to go over the numbers…again! Then prayerfully, there is a sense of relief as you realize you calculated UNDER what you actually need! In our day of financial stress, when every dollar counts, we are more inclined to save rather than spend. That’s understandable and prudent. However, when it comes to our spiritual account, that kind of prudence is not beneficial. In fact, God has deposited in each of us incredible riches that He expects us to rely on, use, and distribute to the people around us…DAILY! The riches God has supplied are meant to give us a sense of assurance and certainty. Unfortunately, because we often miscalculate our spiritual wealth, we live not with certainty, but with anxiety, always wondering if we have enough.
As we continue our study through the book of Ephesians, we are going to uncover our riches in Christ--that great deposit of spiritual assets given to each of us to ensure a life of assurance, strength, and victory. We'd love to have you join us as we uncover these riches. Our first meeting will be September 14th at 7:00pm. Registration is available in the church lobby.
Beloved, I believe God wants us to know and appropriate every spiritual blessing HE has provided in Christ. May HE use this year to unveil not only the richness of our salvation but also the eternal treasure we have in HIM!
