Q. What are the Sunday service times?

8:00, 9:45 & 11:30 am

 

Q. What will services be like?

Christ centered contemporary worship with in-depth Bible teaching.

 

Q. Will I have to say anything or give anything?

No, we enjoy a friendly atmosphere where people can fellowship with others on a level at which they feel most comfortable. Secondly: we do not take an offering. We believe where God guides - God provides. There are offering boxes in the back of the sanctuary for those who feel led to give.

 

Q. What should I wear to the services?

Dress is casual at Calvary Chapel. Common dress ranges from golf shirts and jeans to "business casual" dress. Please wear whatever is appropriate for you.

 

Q. How long will service last?

An hour and 10 minutes.

 

Q. Do children have a separate service?

Yes. We love kids! We have three amazing children’s programs called Uptown (Infants to Kindergarden) and Planet Rock (1st through 4th grade) and Club 56 (5th through 6th grade). Each take place during all services (Sun., Wed.).We work hard to support your children in all aspects of their spiritual growth including worshipping, learning about Scripture, experiencing fellowship, praying, and serving others. 

 

NOTE: We understand that visitors may want to bring their children into the Adult worship service initially. If you do so we ask that you respect the people seated around you by sitting in the back and IMMEDIATELY taking your child to the foyer the moment they begin to stir, talk, cry, etc. NOTE: Parents with children may be asked by our ushers to take their children out of the sanctuary during the service should they become a distraction . 

 

Q. Do you have something for my teen?

Yes. Our Student Ministry, FLIP SIDE provides quality weekend classes for Jr. HIgh (7th-8th grade) during the last service on Sunday morning and Wednesday evening services.

 

Our High School Ministry, Y180 provides weekend classes for students 9th-12th grade during the last service on Sunday mornings and we encourage the students to serve and attend the adult Wednesday evening services.

 

Q. What are the Wednesday service times?

7:00pm We call it Larger than Life Wednesday.

 

Q. When do you partake communion?

The first Wednesday service of each month is a worship and communion service.

 

Q. Where are services held?

All services are held at our main facility located at 3700 FM528 Friendswood, Tx. 

 

Q. What kind of church is this?

Christian Non-Denominational, member of the Calvary Chapel Outreach Fellowship.

 

Q. Do you have adult “Sunday School” classes?

In place of traditional adult “Sunday School,” we offer small groups called “Home Fellowships” that meet bi-weekly in private residences. The goal of our Home Fellowships is to connect adults in an environment that fosters deep friendships, genuine care for one another, and growth in Christ-like character through Bible study.
