Here am I…send me! These words of Isaiah whisper the secret of the burning heart. His soul was so attuned to God because of the crisis of his day, living in a nation drifting far from God. When he heard the voice of God—“Whom shall I send…who will go for Us”—it was an explosion of fervent desire…Send me! Profound words… But can everyone say them? Beloved, with the constant changes facing our nation, we are living in a time much like Isaiah’s. It is a time when God is looking for those He could send, not just to foreign countries, but also to neighborhoods, shopping malls, grocery stores, and skate parks. He is looking for those who are willing to stand in the gap, to pray without ceasing, that they might reach the lost. It is a call that rings louder with every year that passes; a call we all need to answer. That is our desired focus: to align ourselves with His purpose and learn what it means to be a sent one. I pray you will join us as we seek to answer the call with the heart of Isaiah… Here am I—send me!
